This summer, our community Vacation Bible School will be held the week of June 27th.  We will meet each evening that week beginning after dinner time and our performance will be on the evening of July 1. 

We want to invite all children ages 3-5th grade to join us and meet up with Jesus in this fun and beachy summer adventure!

Registration forms are being mailed to all children who have participated in the past and will also be sent home from the elementary school.  Additional copies can be picked up in the church office beginning the first week of June and as soon as they are available we will also put them on the website.

Pre-registration is extremely important for gathering supplies, so we want to encourage you to sign-up early!

Taking Off Pounds Sensibly (TOPS) is a weekly group for folks who are trying to have healthier lifestyles.  This group supports and encourages one another… and would love to invite you to join them!

TOPS is having an open house on June 14th at 11:00am.  You are invited to come, watch a video about what TOPS is all about and meet other people who are on the same journey you are – to a fun, active, and healthier life! 

We “set the table” by remembering who we are at the Celebration of our Past…

We learned about God’s dream for his people through progressive dinner bible studies…

We have looked at what is “on our plate” by listening to the community and celebrating what God is doing in our midst right now…

We spent the season of Lent asking what it meant to be a people of “salt and light”…

And now, it’s time for “The Main Course”: Our Vision Retreat!

On Pentecost Sunday, we will explore together what it means to be the people of God here in Marengo, Iowa.  Every single voice is important – whether you have been a part of this journey all along or you are new to the table. Come for the worship, come for the fellowship, come and help us hear what the Holy Spirit is calling us to do next!

Like other “Come to the Table” events, food will be provided… this time by a sister church who is helping us to focus on the task at hand. 

This is an important moment for the life of our church so please make every effort to join us at the table for the full morning… God has a plan for us and we are so excited to discover what it is!

During the month of June, flamingos are coming to roost in Marengo as a part of our youth group fundraiser. These plastic pink flocks can be sent to any lawn here in the area… for the right amount of money!

Alright, well, perhaps they are not world famous… but they sure are delicious!

Dinner will be served from 4:30-7:00pm on Sunday, May 1.  Take-out orders can also be made by calling 319-642-3146.
